    Bits are safe for use on indoor plants and in the garden. These natural bacteria do not cause harm to beneficial insects such as bees and ladybugs. This product is also safe for use around pets, people, and animals.

    Active Ingredient: Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies israelensis (BTI), a naturally occurring bacterium.

    Eliminating fungus gnat eggs and larvae inside soil, effectively targeting fungus gnat infestations caused by overwatering, poor drainage, root rot, and spread from other plants.

    How To Use

    Easily treat your plants with mosquito bits using one of the below methods:

    DIRECT SOIL METHOD:

    • Shake mosquito bits directly onto the soil’s surface
    • Gently work some of the bits into the top inches of soil
    • Follow with water and resume its usual care schedule

    *Repeat for the next 2-3 waterings, or weekly, on your affected plants. Continue use if needed.

    BITS “TEA” WATER

    • Create a tea mixture using two tablespoons of bits per half gallon of water (double these measurements for large treatments)
    • Let the bits soak in the water for 30-60 minutes
    • Pour directly onto the soil of your affected plants
    • Pour the bits with the water, scoop them out before pouring, or create a tea bag by repurposing a cut stocking or old t-shirt

    *Repeat for the next 2-3 waterings, or weekly, on your affected plants. Continue use if needed.

    *Use tea mixture right away.
