    Care info

Sun: Ficus Ginseng prefer plenty of indirect light. Place this plant a few feet away from a bright window or at the interior of a room.

Water: Keep soil consistently moist but not wet. Water well when the topsoil has dried 1-2 inches and use room temperature, non-tap water. Reduce frequency during fall and winter.

Air: Provide this plant with a warm and humid environment. Temperatures between 60º-75º and away from drafts is ideal. Humid air is crucial for your bonsai to thrive. Boost the moisture around your plant by:

    • Adding a humidifier nearby
    • Creating a pebble tray that lives underneath the pot
    • Misting the leaves 2-4x per week with non-tap water
    • Placement in a bathroom or kitchen, if lighting is suitable

Pruning: Prune your Ficus often so maintain its size and shape. Remove 1-3 leaves each time you get more than a handful of new growth. This encourages your plant to grow fuller and branch out, creating a miniature but lush tree.
