    Care info

    Sun: Philodendrons prefer medium to bright, indirect light. Placement near east, west, or south-facing windows is ideal. They’re adaptable to lower light levels as well, however, they’ll lose some leaf variegation.

    For the Snake Plant - bright and indirect light is ideal, though it does well under low light conditions. The Snake Plant can also adapt to a few hours of direct light once mature.

    Water: Philodendron: Keep soil slightly moist by watering well when the top 2-3 inches are dry. They appreciate consistent watering, with enough time for the soil to dry about 50% in between.

    Snake Plant: This succulent is drought tolerant and will need the soil to fully dry in between waterings.

    Air: Philodendron: Mimic a tropical environment with temperatures between 65º-85º and a high moisture content. You can provide a regular boost of humidity by:

    • Adding a humidifier nearby
    • Creating a pebble tray that lives underneath the pot
    • Misting the leaves 3-5x per week with non-tap water
    • Placement in a bathroom or kitchen, if lighting is suitable

    Snake Plant: Their native environment is warm and dry, so average indoor air tends to work well for the Snake Plant. Keep them in temperatures between 60º-85º and away from sources of humidity.
