Anthurium
CARE INFO
SUN |
The Anthurium requires bright and filtered or indirect light. While it can adapt to lower light levels, south and east-facing windows offer many hours of bright light that increase the number of blooms on the plant. Direct light will burn the leaves. |
WATER |
Maintain a consistent watering schedule, repeating once the top 50%-75% of soil has dried. Always allow water to flow out of the drainage hole and discard any excess. Use of non-tap water is recommended. |

The tropical Anthurium grows a single green, heart-shaped leaf on each of its tall stems. Depending on how much light it’s exposed to, it will produce heart-shaped blooms of a red-pink hue. Depending on their conditions, they will produce blooms a few times throughout the year. This compact houseplant remains under 2 feet tall and can be propagated often to add even more Anthuriums to your home. |

OUR RECS |
We recommend a sturdy clay or ceramic planter with a drainage hole to provide ideal moisture retention for the Anthurium. When repotting, use a planter of the same size or no more than 2 inches larger. Ideal soil is a well-draining mix with aerating and moisture-retaining amendments such as perlite, bark, and/or sand. |
